Learning Italian

I wanted to learn some Italian as quick as possible so I started reading a few books and practised some vocabulary. To my surprise, it was way more difficult than I expected doing it this way. This trip truly made me realise that the best way to learn a language is by just forcing yourself into it. When you're constantly surrounded by people that only speak Italian or English (mostly just Italian), you start to adjust to the environment. I've been exposed to the Italian language for 9 days straight and I learned while I was unaware of it. Most of my vocabulary came from the kids at the primary schools. They knew I couldn't speak Italian, but they still asked me questions. So Instead of saying:''Sorry, I don't speak Italian.'', I adjusted and learned by trial and error. A special thank you to Lorenzo from the Paderno primary school and basically every student from Gastaldo.
